Dr. Harry van der Zee has practised as a homeopathic physician in the Netherlands since 1987. He has been teaching homeopathy in many European countries as well as the USA, India, Africa and Japan.
Since 1996 he has been editor-in-chief of Homœopathic Links – international journal for classical homeopathy.
He has investigated the importance of the birth experience in homeopathic case-taking and published two books on the subject - Miasms in Labour (2000) and Homeopathy for Birth Trauma (2007). Through this work he has been able to meaningfully connect the homeopathic theory of miasms (hereditary archetypes connected to chronic diseases) with the individuation process, and thus provide a theoretical basis for understanding the role and purpose of individual and collective diseases in the process of human evolution.
Since 2004 Harry has been involved in projects in Africa and has moved from treating individuals and their diseases to finding solutions for collective derangements of the vital force as expressed in epidemic diseases and mass trauma. In 2007 he co-founded the Amma Resonance Healing Foundation, which focuses on treating and preventing epidemics, trauma and lifestyle diseases in developing countries (www.ARHF.nl).
In this work he has teamed up with Peter Chappell and edited and published his book The Second Simillimum (2005).
Harry is the author of Amma4Africa Manual - Basic Guide to Treating Epidemic Diseases and Trauma (2009, update 2014) and together with Peter Chappell has written Homeopathy for Diseases – Vital Remedies for Epidemics, Trauma and Chronic Diseases (2012).
He has produced documentaries on treating AIDS, Malaria, Diabetes and Trauma due to war, genocide and rape (Africa) and natural catastrophe (Haiti) and trained health professionals on how to use disease-specific PC Resonances.
He organised Celebrating LINKS – The Homeopathic Conference (international conference in Heidelberg 2007) and Homeopathy for Developing Countries (international conference in Amersfoort 2009).
Together with Christopher Johannes he published the anthology Homeopathy and Mental Health Care (2012).
Harry has trained health professionals in many African countries that now independently treat epidemics, trauma and chronic diseases using the PC Resonances provided to them by ARHF, and he has trained homeopaths that want to work as volunteers in low-income countries and disaster areas. ARHF has made this training available online.
